A lot of younger patients choose to have a rhinoplasty (nose job) or otoplasty (ear reshaping) as these parts of the face often get ridiculed throughout their childhood and teenage years. However within this category are also procedures such as face lifts and eye bag removal, which are associated with ageing, and turning the clock back. A combination of facial surgery procedures can often be performed at the same time to achieve the desired look.
Rhinoplasty
The Rhinoplasty, or otherwise known as the nose reshaping procedure is a very popular choice for men and women, wanting to improve their most prominent facial feature. Many people are unhappy and self-conscious about the shape of their nose. It may have a hump, be too long or wide and in addition, there are sometimes problems that contribute to breathing difficulties. This procedure can often be combined with a septoplasty, which involves the middle of the nose being operated on.
Otoplasty
The otoplasty procedure, or otherwise known as ear reshaping involves the pinning back of one, or more commonly, both ears. Cartilage is removed from behind the ear, to reduce the protrusion of the outer ear shell. This procedure can not only correct the physical appearance, but also the psychological affect protruding ears can cause.
Face Lift
A face lift procedure can dramatically reduce wrinkles and help to rejuvenate the appearance of your face. It can also help with sagging jowls and loose skin on the face and neck area. Brow Lift
The brow lift procedure targets loose skin and wrinkles on the forehead to achieve a smoother appearance. During the procedure, the eyebrows are raised which will give a fresher appearance, and will open out the eye area.
Eye Bag Surgery
Eye Bag Surgery, or otherwise known as lower blepheroplasty involves the removal of sagging skin underneath the eyes. This procedure can freshen up tired eyes and can achieve a more youthful appearance.
Eyelid Surgery
Eyelid Surgery, or otherwise known as upper blepheroplasty involves the removal of drooping folds of skin between the eyebrow and the eye. These layers of skin can lead to a tired and sad looking appearance so surgery can really help a patient look much fresher and younger.
