Bal's Teeth Veneers Story and Photos
Bal was so self-conscious about his teeth that he was afraid to smile.
He saide: "They had gaps, stains and discolouration. I couldn’t believe that I had let my teeth get into such a state. The fact that I’ve “never been too keen on seeing a dentist” certainly hasn’t helped either."
He avoided showing his teeth and didn't dare to smile properly, always thinking people would be shocked by his teeth, which knocked his confidence.
When he realised he had developed “teeth envy” - actually looking at other people and wishing he had their teeth- he realised that it was time to do something about them.
After some research, he found The Hospital Group and their painfree veneers sounded perfect, offering the opportunity for better-looking teeth with no drilling or pain.
A a clinical examination showed that his teeth were in good shape structurally, so suitable for pain-free veneers. He was even able to choose the colour.
2 weeks later, the veneers were fitted.
Bal said: "I must say the whole experience was very relaxing and I didn’t have the “fear factor” that I would usually associate with a visit to the dentist. My teeth were cleaned and the veneers were placed for me to check that I was happy with the colour. The veneers were placed and bonded to my teeth. The excess resin was removed, and it was explained that it was my new veneers that were being shaped and no changes were made to my existing teeth.
It took around 1 hour and 20 minutes in total. I then sat up and looked at the results in the mirror - WOW!
My friends and family can’t believe the way my teeth now look. When I told them it literally took 1 hour 20 minutes, with no anaesthetic, no drilling and no pain many of them have decided to have a consultation for themselves!
I now have a new found confidence in dentists and I have regular check-up’s, and stick to my new dental regime to keep my teeth looking as good as they do now."
